STINGRAY CITY

Stingray City is the gem of the Cayman Islands. This natural, shallow sandbar in the middle of the ocean is the perfect environment to interact with our Southern Atlantic Stingrays. The majestic animals are very social and playful, always looking for some human interaction. Guests will enjoy being able to touch, hold and kiss these stingrays and will create lasting memories by participating in this unique experience. Following your stingray interaction, guests will enjoy snorkeling along the Cayman Island’s natural reef that surrounds the island and a visit to Starfish Point. This protective reef is vibrant with beautiful coral and color-ful marine life. This tour operates daily at either 9:00am or 1:30pm from the hotel dock Water, towels, snorkeling gear and granola bars are provided.

KITTIWAKE SNORKEL

Begin this sail aboard a sail catamaran leaving from the beach at The Westin, Grand Cayman beach. The first stop is the sunken US Naval ship the USS Kittiwake. Observe this attraction from the surface, dive down and snorkel as close as 10 feet from the 250 foot long sunken vessel. The next stop will take you to one of Seven Mile Beach’s many spectacular coral reefs where you will encounter an amazing array of tropical fish and lush coral. After the water activities enjoy a gentle sail with a cocktail of your choice as you soak up the sun for a leisurely cruise back to the beach.

DOLPHIN AND TURTLE

The Dolphin Discovery Park and the Cayman Turtle Centre offer two top at-tractions side by side. Take advantage of this opportunity to swim with playfull dolphins and learn about green sea turtles. The dolphin excursion includes such interactions as foot push, the dorsal tow, kiss and hug and a hand-shake. Acquaint yourself with the 7,000 green sea turtles in every stage of their development who call the Cayman Turtle Centre home.

  • Lovers Swim which has only the basic interactions with the dolphins such as kissing, petting and the handshake. It is 30 minutes in the water with 1 dolphin.
  • Swim Adventure includes the boogie board the belly to belly and the basic interactions such as the kissing, the petting and handshake. It is also 30 minutes in the water with 1 dolphin.
  • Royal Swim includes the dorsal push and the foot push with the basic interaction such as the kissing, the petting and handshake. It is 40 min in the water with 2 dolphins.

BIOLUMINESCENCE

Hidden in the North Sound is one of the most spectacular Bioluminescent Bays in the world. Be sure to sign up for this adventure. After a short boat ride across the idyllic North Sound, you enter the amazing Bio Bay. Once there, the story of why the bioluminescent animals congregate there, and why they make this spectacular light show will be shared. MANGROVE KAYAK

A tranquil floating adventure Our expert Naturalists will guide you on through our on property mangrove forest. Paddle your way through the adventure in our 2 seat, clear bottom kayaks giving you the best view of the amazing activity above and below the water. Our team will show you some of the amazing creatures living in the mangrove forest, from solar powered upside-down jellyfish to brightly colored sea stars, bringing them up in viewing buckets to let your guests safely see and touch them. You will have the opportunity to learn more about this undervalued ecosystem and why it is so important for our natural world and human society. Offered both in the morning and afternoon, this is the best way to explore one of Cayman’s hidden treasures. All equipment and refreshments, are provided by our team.

Roundtrip transportation to and from the airport has been arranged with the Ritz Carlton hotel based on your flight times.
